On Friday, November 1, for one short day, the Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy will become Shiz University and welcome registered participants to learn music, moves, scenes and songs from the Tony Award-winning, soon to be movie musical, Wicked.

Meet your mentors!
Alison Jantzie is a Canadian Broadway performer, choreographer, and arts educator currently based in New York City who will return to the Broadway production of Wicked in early 2025. Other theatrical credits include the Broadway revival of Gigi, 9 seasons as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the MUNY, Encores! at City Centre, Drayton Entertainment and more. Alison holds a B.A in Dance Performance from St. Mary’s College in California and is currently completing her M.B.A from the Schulich School of Business. Alison holds an adjunct faculty position as Marymount Manhattan College, and is dedicated to preparing artists at every stage of their journey for what’s next.
Eric Coles is a Canadian Broadway performer and graduate of Sheridan College’s renowned Musical Theatre Program. He is also a writer with a new musical in development. Some favorite theatrical experiences include: Tick Tick Boom (Theatre Workshop of Nantucket); Diana (La Jolla Playhouse); Something Rotten (1st National Tour), Rock of Ages (Broadway & Original Toronto Company); Mary Poppins (1st National Tour); and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Wizard of Oz (Original Toronto Company). Eric’s work with casting has provided him with audition insights that are invaluable to students who are looking to improve their audition process and confidence.
